DSquared2 and Frankie Morello Spring Summer 2008
Apparently, both brands have the same ideas and theme for their spring 2008 collection. Motorsports! What a coincidence...but then again, the 2 brands have always had a very similar look and feel. And of course DSquared2 is the more famous brand, to the extent that there is a fake DSquared2 boutique blatently selling knock off merchandise under the same name in a reputable mall in Bangkok. I was surprised how 'legitimate' the shop positioned itself to be. They even dare to use actual Dsquared2 runway pics to decorate their shop! Oh my...
Frankie Morello is not a knock off...more like a lesser 'long lost' twin. So who does the theme better? I think we all know the answer.
