myMANybags is ONE today!
Hurray...after doing the long 10 day countdown (I did make a mistake of calculating and need to secretly make adjustments...oops! Busted?), finally on this fateful day a year ago...I started this blog out of 'pure practical need' to document my massive amounts of bags and shoes. And now a year later...I cannot believe how much this space for my blabberings has grown. I have not expected this humble blog to gather a nice group of bag fans, baked beans boys and even spark off some good online friendships which hopefully one day will see a real meeting in person soon.
Now as do all the Oscar winners do, an 'obligatory' thank you speech...(bear with me:-P)
To Bagaholicboy who was the original inspiration for me to start writing a bag blog. I have to admit, I was browsing thru his site for the longest time and I get more and more inspired each time I read it. So in the end, I thought to myself, why not start mine? Thanks BB. I did 'borrow' some styles of documenting a blog from you. Hahaha. It's truly a very good and efficient way! Hope u dun mind:-)
Next up, to the Baked Beans boys (and gals) who kept the passion going. Joe for his uncanny sense of humour, and first suggesting this name. Of course, kudos to his very 'animated' and entertaining yet impeccable outfits documentation. To Javier for his 'inhumanly' knowledge of all things Louis Vuitton (U rekindle the LVoe in me, Treillis, remember?), Paolo (his elevator pics and nonchalant sense of style, waking up so gorgeous each day (I am jealous), and now something more 'revealing'...drools...), Brieuc (for sharing his cute friends and tasteful Parisian life, not to mention his TDF canvas YSL downtown bag), Allan for his quote of 'sissyism is the new black' and many other witty and funny comments (BTW, keep away from Laurent!:-P), Toosan(Jon) for his unwavering support of YSL and a shopping king to match, Sean for his uber-delicious insight on eye candy all over the world and introducing us to 'I am obssessed now' Poladroid, Freshmess and his always welcoming, friendly attitude plus bag LVoe:-) I also learned the word 'Disturbia' from u:-P, Bagcraze (Diana) for her always informative and comprehensive bag updates! Lastly, to all my other readers, thank you for all the support! I will not be continuing to write here if it is not for all of u! BIG LVoe!
Here's to another year of MY MANy BAGS!
(PS. Oh...there are also 2 persons whom I should 'thank' in a way, for the negativity that was encountered here. It serves as a good reminder to not COMMIT those same mistakes and learn from it! Next year, I'd make it a HUGE effort to not encounter similar incidents again:-P)
