Invitations: TearDrop Weddings

I had to share this post from Green Wedding Shoes. I can get over these invites from TearDrop Weddings. I'm in love with these! They are so unique!

Green Wedding Shoes Snippet: When designing her invitations, Holly thinks of the "real" bride and groom and transforms a blank sheet of paper into an original piece of artwork that tells a love story of very original couple. She wants each of her designs to uniquely capture each couple. "We believe that a wedding is a time of joy, and that is the feeling we want our designs to evoke. We want guests to open their invitation and say "oh ya, this is totally Amy and Brian" We think of our designs as little pieces of artwork, that your guests will want to cherish forever."

Green Wedding Shoes Snippet: She can change the hair and facial features of the characters to look like the bride and groom, for a more personalized, custom look :) Brides can also change the type of font, color, and wording. She offers both letterpress and digital printing. View more of her work on her site - TearDrop Weddings.

Our Save the Date Cards & Invitations

So my mom and I went on our Michaels Craft store adventure to find anything & everything wedding and to get ideas. I passed the invitation section & something caught my eye! Black & White invites. Yippee! We loaded up our basket with the invites & matching save the date cards and off we went. DIY projects are a million times cheaper (sometimes) than paying someone else to do it. I just have to assemble them all ;o(.
