London Fashion Week Lust Fall 2011: Jonathan Saunders, Matthew Williamson, Antonio Berardi, Louise Gray

It took all of three minutes after New York Fashion Week gave its last runway bow of the season, for London Fall 2011 Fashion Week to commence and take with it every last model and fashion editor. Descending upon the black shiny taxicabs of London this past weekend have been uber bloggers, stylists, journalists, photographers, and just about every fashion type you can think of, clamoring for a view of the numerous runway collections which have already shown around town. Since there are too many to cover in detail, I have chosen a favorite British few to highlight today. So here goes....

London Fashion Week Spring 2011!

New York Fashion Week barely finished just a few days ago, and the world tips a bit to the right as all the fashionistas flock to Great Britain for the always exciting London Fashion Week! Some of the highlights I've seen so far are big frizzy do's at Topshop Unique, lots of flared mini skirts, dizzying flower prints from Erdem, whites in all sorts of textures, gauzy lingerie at Julien Macdonald, brilliant digital prints from Mary Katrantzou, and a Fashion Week time slot set aside today to memorialize Alexander McQueen at St. Paul's Cathedral.

Just keep your fashion cap on as more shows roll in!

Advertisment For Matthew Williamson For H&M

Check out the clip for Matthew Williamson For H&M. It's cheesy in a way. But oh so fun. Welcome the 'saviour' to all fashion 'clones' of the world. But in the end, if everyone buys the collection, we are still fashion 'clones' at the end of the day.

Food for thought.
