Restir.com Starts Winter Sale On Monday, 20 Dec 2010!

Japanese multi-label concept store, Restir was one of my must visit shopping destination when I visited Tokyo recently. Located in the modern shopping mall, Tokyo Midtown (near Roppongi Hills area), the store presents a carefully curated selection of luxury brands from cult to well known names. Trussardi 1911, Givenchy, Balmain, Neil Barrett, Kris Van Assche are just some of the big names along side other cult labels such as The Soloist and Odyn Vovk. I am a fan of their store decor. Feels part club and part boutique! Very hip:-)

Although Japanese prices are marked up way much more than in Singapore, their selections are immaculate, often stocking the best pieces from each collection achieved thru the discerning eye of the store buyers. Japanese truly does it best when it comes to fashion and shopping!

They have an online store, www.restir.com that allows international buyers (both men and women) a chance to buy into their selections. The online store will start their winter sale on Monday, 20 December. Markdowns will range from 20%-70% off. What better chance to pick up some one of a kind and TDF pieces than during the sale!

Shipping is a flat 5000 yen (Approx. SGD80) and via Fed Ex. International orders are exempt from Japan VAT. Orders over 50,000 yen gets FREE shipping. (Please remember, if you reside in Singapore, orders over a value of SGD400 is subject to Singapore's 7% GST)

I am happy to report, I got something from them recently (one day Flash sale) that is nowhere to be found anywhere, unless I visit Europe. Their service is unmatched. Friendly and very prompt. Aiko Fukuda is so nice to deal with! Service levels indeed that one can count on from the very attentive Japanese:-)

The Great Singapore Sale starts this week, so flexing those bank account muscles and give those magic Visa cards a good workout!

Hugo Boss end of season sale starts this coming Friday, 28 May 2010 in Singapore. Since DSquared2 is managed by the same retailer, Kwang Sia, so expect DSquared2 to have mark downs too!

New to join markdown season this week will be German label, Hugo Boss. I am surprised Hugo Boss is having their sale this early in Dec, which they usually do it on boxing day. So good news to those guys who wants masculine modern pieces for work or play. Sale will start on Fri, 11 Dec 2009. Discounts usually starts at 40% off. Hugo Boss store in Ngee Ann City & Ion Orchard, Counter at DFS Scottswalk, Boss Orange boutique at the new Mandarin Gallery will be your points of 'sale loot'. (And while you are at Ngee Ann City, do drop by the revamped duplex level Louis Vuitton boutique that is spanking new with Cruise 2010 collections ready for purchase:) I love the red/orange checks bermudas...)

And since Hugo Boss is managed by Kwang Sia in Singapore, I assume all the other brands under this fashion conglomerate will have their markdowns too. So there's a chance DSquared2 will see sale signs on their storefront this Friday! Y3 at Mandarin Gallery is currently having a 30% storewide discount, I also wonder if more discount will be offered come Friday.
