3.1 Phillip Lim K.C. Leather Satchel

Fab bag alert! If you are having an overdose of Céline's highly sought after Luggage Tote, how about a new style that can be a match for Céline's masculine feminine appeal? 3.1 Phillip Lim's K.C. Leather Satchel is here for the 'rescue'...

I love the K.C. leather satchel in bright green, with it's zipper sides and push lock closure. The bag is structured in shape and even features a shoulder strap for hands free days! Love the way the bag looks so effortless when the zipper sides are down... attached a chain (not included) on the zipper pulls and the bag becomes even more fabulous!

Net-a-porter stocks the black version for £646.56 here. I love it! 3.1 Phillip Lim is getting better and better each season:-P (This bag is also available at 3.1 Phillip Lim store at Hilton Hotel, Singapore. Price at SGD1510.)

Hiya everybody! It's been a whirlwind week and I had the pleasure of attending the Fashion 2.0 Social Media Awards last night in SoHo. I met so many great fellow bloggers, fashion entrepreneurs, and the DKNY social media/PR gang which took home awards in almost every category including best Twitter account! Note to self: Check out DKNY's Twitter account...Back to the fashion at hand, here are some pieces I loved from collections that have flown down the runway at Fashion Week, and do note the fortuitous use of color for next Fall, especially blues and greens!

Below: 3.1 Phillip Lim's Spring Summer 2011 Mens Shoes sees some high potential to add to my shoe collection! Love these espadrilles shoes and sandals... Love the baby blue tassel pair!

Below: Thick soled footwear are going rampant on the menswear scene this SS2011... Phillip Lim does a more subdued take as compared to Prada's Platform Brogues... I love his high cut buckled version in tan colour!

Below: Fringed leather panels, buckles and brogue details, updates on classic designs to make these shoes relevant this SS2011!

3.1 Phillip Lim Spring Summer 2011 Mens Shoes

Presenting some 'delectable' footwear delights from my new favourite designer, Phillip Lim. I have blogged about his 'flamboyant' sequined cockerel T-shirt with Penguin Tail... so here's more to add to the look:-)

I love Phillip Lim's take on the now very hot trend of espadrilles shoes... check out his espadrilles sandals and tasseled version in baby blue... Lovely sweet dandy!

And his buckle shoes with fringe leather panels are equally smart and unusual. If you are looking for chunky soled shoes the likes of the highly coveted Prada Platform Brogues, Phillip Lim does his interpretation with a more subdued design. I love the tall tan buckled boots with thick soles. Love the colour!

Prices for shoes starts from SGD590:-) Quite reasonable for a pair of designer kicks!

Phillip Lim is definitely climbing up the ranks of my 'hot designer brand' to watch out for this season. I love my 3.1 Phillip Lim purchases especially my new Leopard Print Haircalf Trainers!

I will be sure to get my fix of Phillip Lim at Club 21 Mens, Four Seasons Hotel (Singapore). Pop by soon, I saw this nice leather duffle bag shaped like an ingot (See below, although the one available in Club 21 Mens Singapore is much nicer, all leather!), very handy and soft. Only SGD790... miss it at your own loss!:-P

3.1 Phillip Lim Leopard Haircalf High-cut Trainers

A reader just tweeted me about a new pair of Mihara Yasuhiro leopard print trainers. So this is what prompted me to do this post.

Yes, I love leopard prints. Especially when it is all the rage since the past few seasons. It's like an undying classic print that gets revived again and again. It could hide amongst trends when not a key trend or take the fashion spotlight as seen in last Fall Winter 2010 season. And this Spring Summer 2011 season, these leopard prints are poised to steal limelight again, but in the men's collections instead of the womens. Givenchy and Trussardi 1911's mens collection have all unabashedly flaunt these feral patterns.

But do I really need another pair of leopard print shoes after my Comme Des Garcon and Lanvin versions? I asked myself that question. I am afraid the phrase of Leopard prints will soon fade... so I was not ready to commit to another pair. But when I saw these 3.1 Phillip Lim Leopard Haircalf High-cut Trainers (Fall Winter 2010 collection), it ignites that WANT in me again. Perhaps it's the haircalf, the white and tan colours, but most of all the contrasting leopard spotted prints that got me very excited. The different varying prints pieced together to form the shoe is special and interesting. The leather lined interior, the size zip (for easy removing of the shoes), with the hiking boots style laces all made for an irresistible shoe design. Rough and tough, street inspired but luxe in appeal.

Perfect for those rolled hem pants, long sleeve shirts and Tom Ford thick acetate eye glasses, preppy cool with a touch of street. Kawaii I might say, but love is what I will proclaim.

That will conclude my 'need' for leopard print shoes for now. Mihara Yasuhiro's... oops. You came too late:-)

Below: 3.1 Phillip Lim Cockerel Applique T-shirt With Penguin Tail... I am ready for my 'GETAI' (Lunar Seven Month Street Concert) Debut...

Below: Love the uneven length of the hem, creating a tail on the back, when worn...

Below: Intricately sewn sequins to form a cockerel image...

Below: 'Penguin' tail design which I love...

Below: As seen on the Spring Summer 2011 Mens show, but in a slightly different Cockerel motif... gorgeous!

3.1 Phillip Lim Cockerel Sequin Applique T-shirt With Penguin Tail

I want to be alive... and rock the world...

That is why I got this 3.1 Phillip Lim Cockerel Sequin Applique T-shirt With Penguin Tail. The longer shirt tail at the end created a unique silhouette for the otherwise simple t-shirt, hanging out of your blazers, adding the flowing flair as you walked. Like a tuxedo jacket tail... abeit a more flamboyant one...

I am getting 'cocky'!

(Get yours from Club 21 Mens, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Price SGD$360... great price for such a intricately crafted t-shirt!)
