Zara Majorelle Blue Suede Loafers
When you are on holiday...how can you resist retail therapy to add a bit of a memento to the whole holiday experience. And especially in Bangkok where malls are huge and many...like Siam Paragon and Central World, you just shop shop and shop!
Fortunately, I was in good control this time since luxury brands are exceptionally expensive than in Bangkok than even Singapore. So I am not prepared to shelf out so much more for probably the same thing I can get in Singapore. However, Zara pricing between the 2 countries is comparable...so I do not mind shopping at Zara in Bangkok. That is the reason I ended up with this brightly hued Zara Majorelle Blue Suede Loafers! It's incredible how bright the blue colour is. And to top it all, it's made from really soft suede which feels so comfortable wearing! I also like the slight heel design which looks more elegant and than just a thick rubber flat sole. Lastly, it seems I have never seen these in Singapore. I know I would get them if I see them...so maybe I am lucky to find something that is not available in SG in Bangkok's Zara:-P I could be wrong..but who cares..I just adore these:-)
Pairing it in the luxe dark marble lined Le Meridien Bathroom(since that's the only place I get a full length mirror with good lighting) with Marni taupe cropped jacket, D&G deep blue skull print V-neck tee, A/X checkered shorts or Zara super skinny jeans, Gucci Horse Hoof Buckle Belt or Muji red plait leather belt and YSL Y-mail dogtag necklace. Now all I need is a nice man clutch to complete the evening and to paint the 'Bangkok' town red (Actually I did, I had drinks with my fren at Bamboo Chic Bar located at my hotel and later partied at DJ station till almost 3am. Got drunk, dance against the bar counter till I realised I bruised my back. Yikes! Silly me. Then crashed like a log in bed last evening. Ouch...hangover Saturday!)
