Harry Potter and the Order of the Redhead

I've been voraciously reading the entire Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling series over the past few weeks. I'm also very aware that almost anyone who is literate has read and finished all the books over and over, since its first UK publication in 1997. The one disadvantage of my newfound past time is that I've got no one with whom to join a Hogwarts or Gryffindor Quidditch club, apparently everyone's been there done that. So instead I will focus on the style portion of Harry Potter, particularly the Gryffindor house colors, scarlet and gold, perfectly suited to our stylish redhead lifestyle. Translated into clothing, however, the colors often seem more of a burgundy and mustard yellow, still stylishly suited to the redhead lifestyle. I love the striped knit scarves which Harry, Ron, and Hermione wore in the early films. The Harry Potter Gryffindor Tie available on buycostumes.com is lovely worn with any crisp white collared-shirt, for a bit of a Gossip Girl look. A Robert Rodriguez pleated dress in citrine (a mustard gold) from nordstrom.com looks fab against red hair, and a swipe of shiny red/burgundy lipstick (like Nars in Sephora Flame on sephora.com) should do the rest!
